Text Box: CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM THE STENSLANDS! Text Box:   We hope this finds you well and enjoying the advent season. This will be our first Christmas in the USA for 12 years and our first Christmas as a family of three instead of two! Life has certainly changed for us these past months, but apart from getting a few more hours of sleep at night, we wouldn’t want to change a thing! Luke is doing well and becoming more and more “alive” each day with smiles, giggles and attempts at conversation. He is such a delight! As I mentioned, his only problem is sleep or lack of it. He has great difficulty sleeping both at night and in the day despite the many books we have read and the many methods we have used. He is definitely proving to be a very unique little boy. Please continue to think of us as we try and teach him the joys of sleep (whoever coined the term “sleep like a baby” must never have had one!). Erik has finished his first year of Masters Studies and will start again at the beginning of January. He did very well and enjoyed working on papers that had direct relation to our work in the Balkans. Erik has had these last two weeks free and has been working hard trying to expand his photography business. Not only is photography a great de-stresser for him and an outlet for his creativity, but we hope it will in the future furnish us with some additional support when we return overseas. These last weeks he’s been selling a number of prints, greeting cards, screensavers, bookmarks, etc and was even approached regarding a book project. It’s not making anything yet, but it looks promising for the future. My involvement with Pinebrook Vacation Rentals has been reduced somewhat since the arrival of Luke, but I am keeping my hand in. I still take care of most of the correspondence and some other limited tasks. We have been delighted to see some of our cabins used by other missionaries recently. We hope to see more come in the future and experience refreshment in this beautiful part of the world. We have a lot to thank God for this past year. At the beginning of the year, we didn’t quite know how everything would work out with the pregnancy, health insurance, income, etc. Not only do we have a beautiful son, but the Lord has met all our needs and blessed us above and beyond with good friends, family and a year of personal renewal.  Thank you for your friendship and ongoing support and encouragement. We wish you a joyful Christmas and a fruitful 2005.
